Appointment Confirmation Policy
To accommodate you better and ensure we are maximizing our team’s time to see more patients in need, we have implemented the following appointment confirmation policy.
Here’s how it will work for surgery, dental and morning scheduled procedure appointments:
- 9 days prior to your appointment, you will receive an email reminder to make sure the appointment still works with your schedule. If not, we encourage you to call us to reschedule. If it works, PRESS THE CONFIRM button within the email to confirm.
- 8 days prior to your appointment, you will receive a text message reminder with a request to confirm your appointment. All you have to do to confirm is reply “C” to confirm.
- 7 Days prior to your appointment: If you have not yet confirmed your appointment, you will receive a Voice call and/or a text message from our practice, asking you to confirm your appointment. We do require a 7 day notice to reschedule or cancel this type of appointment.
- Surgery, dental or drop off procedures that cancel or reschedule with less than 7 days’ notice are subject to a $100 fee.
- 1 Day prior to your appointment, we will call as a courtesy to remind you no food or water after 10pm the night before and drop off is at 8:45 a.m. at this point your appointment is already confirmed.
The goal of this policy is to increase our availability to treat pets in need.
